Step‑by‑Step: Set up Microsoft 365 on an iPhone

Step 1 – Open the App Store

  • On your iPhone Home Screen, tap App Store.

Step 2 – Search for Microsoft 365

  • Tap Search
  • Type Microsoft 365
  • Look for Microsoft 365 by Microsoft Corporation

Step 3 – Download or Open the App

  • Tap Get (if not installed)
  • Tap Open once installation completes

Step 4 – Sign in to Your Microsoft Account

  • Enter your email address
    • Work or school account (e.g. name@company.co.za)
    • Or personal Microsoft account (Outlook/Hotmail)
  • Tap Next
  • Enter your password
  • Approve MFA if prompted

Step 5 – Allow Permissions

When prompted, tap Allow for:

  • Notifications
  • Email access
  • Contacts (optional but recommended)

Step 6 – Microsoft 365 Is Ready

You can now access:

  • 📧 Outlook email
  • 📄 Word
  • 📊 Excel
  • 📽 PowerPoint
  • OneDrive
  • 👥 Teams (if enabled)

All apps are available directly inside the Microsoft 365 app.
